My name is Kristi Chaney. I have both a current PHR certification as well as a Masters in Human Resources Management, as well as over a decade of experience. I didn’t find HR as a career - it found me. Some people refer to their field as a job. I see mine as a calling. And I love it!

I founded KChay Consulting specifically to provide small and medium-sized businesses with quality HR consulting. I saw an uneven playing field where large companies were able to secure better HR individuals and teams, leaving smaller businesses with less resources to scramble for help when they need it most, often times with less than satisfactory results. That’s where I come in.

My goal is simple: help business owners build stronger organizations by supporting their people, reducing risk, and creating workplaces where employees and businesses can thrive together.

My experience spans nearly every aspect of HR, including employee relations, workplace investigations, leadership development, compliance, onboarding and orientation, recruiting, benefits, organizational development, risk management, and strategic planning. I've partnered with executives, managers, and employees to solve complex workplace challenges while staying aligned with the company’s overall mission and objectives.
