MY CALLING

I didn’t find HR. HR found me.

I’ve lived a number of lives, during which I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve worked in a variety of fields in different states, different cities, different cultures, etc. I’ve worked in large corporate entities and small family-owned companies. I’ve worked with fantastic leaders and some not-so-fantastic. I’ve seen it all. And I’ve built my personal HR brand and philosophy around common sense and what actually works.

My random professional journey led me to my calling and a field that I truly love doing.

MY COMPANY

I founded KChay Consulting specifically to provide small and medium-sized businesses with quality HR consulting. I saw an uneven playing field where large companies were able to secure better HR individuals and teams, leaving smaller businesses with less resources to scramble for help when they need it most, often times with less than satisfactory results. So I created a business to help smaller companies get the help and expertise they need without the massive costs that typically can come with experienced HR professionals.

MY MISSION

My goal is simple: help business owners build stronger organizations by supporting their people, reducing risk, and creating workplaces where employees and businesses can thrive together.

During my career, I’ve been the peon coordinator, the generalist, the manager and now I’m the consultant. I’ve touched almost every fact of HR that exists, and if I don’t know the answers I know where and how to get them.

MY APPROACH

I carefully balance the needs of the company C-Suite with the needs of the workers on the ground who keep things moving. I keep the mission and values of each company in mind while creating tailored HR solutions that reflect those values and goals. Alignment is key.

My solutions are grounded in practical, common-sense HR tailored to your company’s needs. I believe effective HR isn't about creating unnecessary bureaucracy—it's about helping leaders make informed decisions, building healthy workplace cultures, and creating systems that allow organizations to grow with confidence.
